Huh . . . Glad Dom Shine is an assistant captain at least.
For non-Griffins fans, the takeaway here is a lot of people are surprised it’s not Dominik Shine.
Didier is a first-year Griffin with a ton of pro experience, but Shine has been a Griffin since 2016.
Rafferty (also first year Griffin) and Shine are alternates.
My surprise is Spezia or Hirose not getting an A, but Watson juggled alternates like crazy in Toledo. I don’t know if he’ll be able to do that in GR, but last season in Toledo at least five different guys wore A’s (Hawkins, Green, Myer, Denis, Lowney) so who knows.

I’m surprised by this choice. But a new coach doesn’t have the loyalty to returning players. Having pro experience is a plus
