  1. Boys looking great coach…. keep ‘em playing hard all game, loving the energy 💪

  2. chrisy drury made this team into the buffolo sadbres over about 10 years or so when drury beat them . Good all around offensive play making lines but team work and having them buying in if they trust themselves to defened and buy in he gurantees them they will win and still score 4. The question about laffi and him saying ask him but just kept saying that he knows there are a bunch of pairs or lines that mesh great together . He was the only islander coach to destroy us. Peca for faceoffs. Like this i have to say looking back at chris drury was one of the smartest players . He scored by reading the game. And I didnt think it was the right move to move on from prior managment but once i saw he is free minded and doing it the way the brought them to the cup

  3. LGR! I like the system they are playing but I agree with what Coach implied – maybe need a little more "killer instinct" from the boys.

  4. Chytil had a great game on the D side! Especially in first period. Laffy and Bread another solid game. That line should get even better as Bread gets more comfortable with where they will be. And the team is playing well together. A little more toughness, Truba is playing his best hockey here. Think he needs to step up a bit more when someone runs a ranger. But he has played well.

  5. It's hysterical, I actually saw people say that the Nashville game was a must win because of the upcoming road trip. I'd say this team is pretty dang good

  6. Call up Othmann and put Wheeler on the bench. Give this kid a look for 2 weeks and let’s see if he’s ready.

  7. Perfect example of a coach brining in a new system to a team that has the right players already there to make that system work. Most times its fitting a round peg into a square hole.

  8. scariest part is that Fil and Mika still haven't scored yet.

with that said, they are slowly putting the league on notice. try and score against us.

  9. now phase out Wheeler and Bonino if they don't start producing…bring up Othmann…maybe also Berard or Sykora.

Sykora was playing with grown men since age 16, back in Slovakia.

  10. The Rangers did play well. And looks like the team is understanding the new system and how to implement it. Just an observation, it seems that the team plays slower against rebuilding teams or teams they should beat. And play faster when they play playoff contending team. ie. The Bruins, Penguins etc. I think teams like the Avalanche would be a good team to imitate for The Rangers. Their a smart, skilled team that plays with pace and fore checks when necessary. The Rangers have a lot in common. Except Igor and Quick are much better goalies then the Avalanche goalies.

  11. Why are people in the NHL always pretty monotone and relatively not lively when they get interviewed?
