I have a feeling the Oilers are going to be this seasons Florida Panthers. They will struggle all season but just manage to squeek into the playoffs as a lower seed and go on a run to the final. The Oilers are trying to fool me but i am not easily fooled.

I hope the Heritage Classic is an all-out nasty battle for the ages. Both teams and fanbases are on edge right now for good reason. It better boil over into a do-or-die battle to show which team is determined to turn this garbage around when all eyes are on them.

Taking 2nd liners from other teams and making them 1st liners ain't gonna work, Kadri and Huberdeau were best when they had a MacKinnon or Barkov. Having the 2 best players surrounded by nobodies ain't gonna work either with just McDavid and Drai. These 2 teams should take note from the Leafs and have a core 4 and model after them .
