Darcy is a god. That shootout gave me chills

Holy hell that shootout was intense. Way to go Darcy!!

A defenseman is the only player to score on the shootout. Just as we all predicted LOL

Really proud of the way the boys have looked over the last 3 games. We may not have the fastest team or the best finishers, but they showed team chemistry and have looked like a well coached team through and through. Just gotta hope that the age of our boys doesn’t stop them from sustaining this level of play

Johnny boy for the win!!! Tip of the cap to Kuemper, he was terrific in this game. Way to grind out the win boys!!!

Ok we’re winning the cup this year and I won’t take no for an answer.

Darcy absolutely shut the door in that shootout

  9. bought a Strome sweater yesterday. I do not regret this decision.

If you were shitting on Kuemper after that first goal, you’re an idiot.

    Gritty win. Let’s keep rolling.

    Looking better every game.

That third period, even without a goal, was just excellent in puck possession at the end. Even with some pretty bad giveaways it was still pretty great to see them exhaust Minnesota like that.

Kuemper was also superb at the end.

Back at .500, onto San Jose

Such a fun game overall my heart was racing throughout the shootout

This is just a regular season game against the Wild but this win means a whole lot to me. It’s my birthday and I spent the whole day from 2am by my wife’s side as she experienced excruciating wisdom tooth pain and we ran from ER to dentist. I’m usually Drunk Chris but today I was sober Chris ready to wake up tomorrow for her emergency surgery. Thanks all you guys for the happy bdays and thank you CAPS for pulling it out. Really helped my mindset.

TL;DR I was sad boi and now I’m less sad boi

    It’s officially a winning streak!

They didn’t play awful, but there were a lot of passes where it looked like they were expecting a guy to be somewhere they weren’t. It wasn’t just one guy making this mistake, it was everyone. They were conceding possession way too easily most of the game. I thought the first goal Kuemper gave up looked saveable, but he played well afterwards and bailed us out in that shootout.

Is it me or is Mc Michael kinda trying to hard?

This one was big for me…I live in Minnesota (DC ex-pat) and all my Minnesota in-laws were visiting today. John and Darcy delivered one for me in the end.

Anyone happen to know what the longest scoreless shootout is? Don’t think this would be the record, but could be close.

Another really great press conference from Carbery. I’m enjoying his detailed answers and the conversation he has with the media. It’s such a difference from some of the more stoic old guys in the league that give one word answers. Carbery never looks annoyed at a question or having to explain his thought process.

All the doomers ignored advanced stats and our trending up and just saying, “old”. Not going to shoot 4% on the year and hit the post, just like they aren’t going to give one up on every single turnover.

We aren’t good, but we aren’t the sharks

The last half of the third had the team looking fucking dangerous. I want to say they got about 10 shots in 10 minutes. It was really just Fleury holding them off.

Also, I like mojo, and I’m glad to see him as a difference maker on a team. He looked good tonight.

Praise be to Darcy, our saver.
