Just need that legit shut down third / fourth line and one more rhd that is game changer then the team is serious.

    Really like Fridge on D

Really like the team build right now.

  2. Dongerated

Glad to see Miller put up those quiet points. He might be one of the top underrated players in the league right now. Feels like i’m watching 2011 Kesler. Petey + Miller on PK has one of the highest SHG percentages in the league.

  3. no major myers gaffs was refreshing, plus we completely dunked on binnington

  4. DanMurphysNumber1Fan

    We are so fucking back.

    The great Wall of Demko

    Big dick Hughes

    Even the giraffe looked good.

This is the most excited I’ve been for our team in a decade. I said back in pre season that this year feels different, and I truly believe that. We actually look like a team, not just a team but a *good* team. I am 100 percent all in on the Hughes era of the Vancouver Canucks.

Good win keep them coming. Seasons long from over

  6. Rollarman

I’m planning the parade. Which streets we taking?

  7. 2phones

So if the blues beat the flames 3 -0, and we beat the blues 5-0 are we infinity times better than the flames?

  8. Heroiism

Cant remember the last time the depth on this team was this responsible. Suter, Lafferty, Hoglander bring so much. Friedman also looking like an underrated pickup.

  9. Sarcastic__

I sold my tickets to this game because I didn’t feel like going.

The last time I did that, we beat Calgary 7-1.

I know what I must do for the rest of the season.

Demko earned that shutout, but man it was nice to see our Dmen literally throwing themselves to break up plays to give him the support he needs.

  11. jackfrench9

Bloody hell it’s nice following a team when it’s competitive

  12. Nuck_1198

Why does this guy keep trying to pull baseball into our post game lol, like piss off bro

  13. Gillz13

Why tf did they change the “I’m still standing song” after the W

  14. Overclocked11

What a game to be at.

    The rog was rockin tonight!!

    WOOOOOOOOO

  15. electricnux

Abby Canucks also just won their third in a row, 5-2

  16. -GregTheGreat-

We’re legit like a single Chris Tanev style player (shutdown top 4 RHD) from having a very well-rounded roster.

  17. NotoriousBananaHavoc

Fucking Eh bois we are getting it down with a complete line up hell Phil Di Giuseppe who wouldve thought he would be playing like a 5 million player…

God I hope the highs of watching us win and Alberta hockey keeps on losing last till the end of the season… though i wish Edmonton to not get a high draft pick they have ruined enough careers

  18. Ok_Effective_9477

    Jinxes aren’t real.

The Canucks however, are for fuckin’ real.

    What a game!

  19. gamerofdestiny

I’ve been saying I’m just gonna enjoy the ride while it lasts and hope it takes a while “for the other shoe to drop”. That said holy fuck it’s so nice to get some wins and to have some positive buzz around this team again. Been WAY too long.

  20. deeho88

Everyone played exceptionally well tonight. But with all the hate myers gets, I’ll say he was really good tonight also playing with more minutes

  21. InconspicuousFap

    Jordan Binnington’s 9/11 (again)

  22. Haywood_jablowmei

cheers to di Giuseppe future pay days

  23. Qrigon99

Can’t wait for some loser on the post game show to bring up “well their Corsi wasn’t that good so I’m not impressed”

  24. SloJuicer

It took us 17 games to get 5 regulation wins last season. How the boys perform now is way beyond my expectations

  25. wintercom

Welcome to the Quintin Hughes Era ladies and gentlemen. The future is now folks.

  26. phantompowered

Okay. If we can play like that more nights than not, I’m going to be a happy man. Tomorrow should be fun.

Liked Lafferty a lot tonight. Love his approach to rushing the net.

Do you know what helps goalies stay strong down the stretch? Having to make no saves in a period.

  27. Idk why everyone is hyped we just beat a D tier goalie.

  28. YojimboAP

tmrw is going to be a big one. Both NYR and Van are on a 3 game W streak and off to the same 5-2-0 start

  29. helixflush

Fuck what a game from the boys! Total team effort.

  30. Nuck_1198

Hahahaha Juice just destroying Alberta by himself lmao, Hemorrhage Classic!

  31. Sedinery_14

Bieksa just called Sunday’s game at Commonwealth the “Hemorrhage Classic, since both teams are bleeding” 💀💀

  32. Letsbeguin

Even if we lost that game, I would have still be extremely happy with the performance. The lads were relentless all night on both ends of the rink. I can’t believe these are the same Canucks from last year. Night and day.

  33. ProfessionalAlive916

I maybe am being dramatic but maybe not .. did we record a single shutout last season?

  34. shadownet97

This is how you start to build a contending team. The guys making under 1mil each are performing way beyond expectations. You don’t sign those guys to ludicrous contracts from the get go. They have to earn that either here or elsewhere.

I love that this team is finally getting on board with that memo (albeit some questionable ones here and there but I digress.)

  35. phantompowered

“if it’s gonna be hard it’s gonna get really hard. Because when it gets hard, it’s gonna be hard. It’s hard.” – Rick Tocchet.

  36. Megamedium

Undefeated and outscoring our opponents 13-1 at home, no other rinks are touching our home ice advantage tbh (ignore the empty seats)

  37. helixflush

The fact the first period was like what 19 shots to 2? Insane. I don’t care if they played last night this was a beat down.

  38. 83tinman

They are averaging 6.5 goals per game in the two I’ve attended this year. Be nice to keep that up.

  39. runn4days

We haven’t seen this team play this level of hockey in too long
