Damn this was brilliant. Dark Daryl ftw. Wow. I actually wonder if it’s a business strategy to keep this team mediocre; good enough to give us poor plebs hope year after year without actually setting out to achieve anything, because they know people will still show up even if the team sucks. Because it certainly doesn’t seem like they’re in the business of winning or being competitive; it’s nice if they are, but it’s not the priority.

1. Markstrom is literally the only bright spot on this team right now.
2. Using Nick Richie was questionable but I understand the logic behind it. he’s a wild card the other team hadn’t prepped for and if he’d scored (which he almost did) everyone would have called Daryl a genius.
