Yeah, the game went about as I has expected. First few games back from their extended break, the Canucks might have been running on empty but they had adrenaline to compensate. I think things are catching up to them now that they are settled into the old routine. They just looked out of sorts. Each loss taking them farther away from the playoffs, the Canucks have to start thinking and looking more to the future and getting their young guys some playing time. Thanks Clay!
Lind did look pretty good. Leafs depth was impressive.
Hughes was shakey in the defensive zone. I think you’re right- trying to do too much.

As long as Green lets the kids play, then I think this will be the remaining objective for this season.
It’s depressing watching the last few games. The league should’ve canceled the rest of the Canucks season after their bout with Covid. They’re slow. They can barely get out of their own defensive zone and barely register any shots. Not looking forward to the rest of the season.

Yeah, can't wait to see Hughes and Hamonic fully gelled, Quinn's mistakes are starting to become glaring (he's still pretty great but is ultimately high risk, high reward)

I agree that Vancouver is not as good of a team but played a better game than the one against the Sens. I think Cole was one of the better players. Good debut for him. Gaudette now has a assist and a goal in his first two games with the Hawks. Point per game. Hmmm.
