Should of been an NFL MVP in my opinion.
They don't make them like this anymore. It was a joy, a privilege, and an honor (plus a HELL of a lot of FUN) to watch that man play every Sunday. We in Pittsburgh were blessed to have #43.
I had no doubt he would be first class HOF… no doubt at all. Even today (late 2023) in Pittsburgh, you STILL see more #43 jerseys on Sunday than just about anyone else. It's probably a tie between Troy and Big Ben (#7) but I know for myself, I'll be rocking that #43 jersey on football weekends until I'm 80 years old. Troy is Legendary… nuff said.
The 5 Steelers I admired most:
Rocky Bleier, Joe Greene, Mel Blount, Troy Polamalu, and Franco Harris. All great Steelers, all truly good men, all with a unique legacy.
For a murderer, Ray's a pretty cool guy
Top 3 Steeler, and safety of all time. He was the embodiment of what it meant to be a Pittsburgh Steeler. Speak softly, but carry a big stick. One of my greatest memories is watching them beat the Cards with my old man, miss you pops! LETS GO STEELERS!!!
The mad Hawaiian 🤘🤘🤘🤘
No disrespect to these dudes, but no one needs to tell me why he belongs. I watched him play his entire career. Nuff said.
Imagine Troy in Baltimore with ray and ed omgggg
Troy was the Michael Jackson of football
In the football field of dreams, Troy Polamalu will be the first one to come out of the cornfield. Best safety EVER!
the humility and passion to play the game like troy 🥲
Best db in game
imagine if troy and tj were in their prime at the same time
he had incredible drive AND ability…….
How could he not end up in the hof?
The best safety of all time.
Ray Lewis is one of the best to ever pull on a helmet
Him walking through that smoke at the end… Bit of a man tear right there.
polamalu was by far the best safety i have ever seen , some may like ed reed better but no safety ever changed how the game was played like troy teams game planned for him and wanted to know where he was lined up at all times ! he will be in the hall of fame or they may as well shut the doors !
When you ask who your favorite team is, being a Steeler fan, there isn’t another answer. But my second favorite team is the Ravens. As long as NFL football exists you are looking at the best
