  1. honestly ya, I would say that the fans cost them that game. They lost on the pk that they wouldn't have been on had it not been for the fans. That loss is to blame on the fans and the refs for giving a penalty for something the fans did.

  2. What's to stop opposing fans from buying hats at the stadium and throwing stuff on the ice….How do you prove someone isn't a a fan of the other team….Just kick the people out, the team didn't deserve a penalty.

  3. Usually there's a warning by the officials first, especially if the incident occurs during a break in play, but what else is GR supposed to do given the circumstances? Fans shouldn't be throwing random things on the ice, and they know this.

  4. Dude, it sounds like it was the fans fault though. It sounds like you are criticizing the team for blaming the fans, but the fans essentially took a penalty for the team.

  5. friday night games are $1 or $2 beers, and i thought they did the chuck a puck for charity after the 2nd period.

  6. The Griffins aren't blaming 'THEIR FANS'. They are blaming 9 unruly fans who thre objects onto the ice causing a penalty which cost a goal. You're videos are getting pretty bad dude. I might stop watching altogether. I used to enjoy your videos. You used to give fairly unbiased documentary and fairly sensible documentary. Now you have become making High School level videos that obviously are geared just to get clicks. Boo Hoo on you. YOU will be losing YOUR fans soon.

  7. The biggest problem I have with it is … if it was 9 people, how do the refs know if they are fans of GR or the opposing team? They are just incentivizing opposing teams fans to throw stuff onto the ice to get their team a PP. bad decision by the refs, now in a case where 1000’s of people are doing it, I’d say give the penalty after the warning, but 9 people?

  8. I think it's fair to say the fans cost them the game by giving a PP in OT to the other team. They did lose the momentum they had and had to feel frustrated.
