Solving Shesterkin might be a problem. I honestly think we were the better team that period though.

Joshua just needs to know that the initial clean hit is good enough, no need for that extra shove to the face. This is entire reason why we are down 1.
We’re outplaying a great team 5-on-5 on a back-to-back. Other than the dumb 5-on-3 I thought that was an impressive first period.

The Rangers are such a talented team and they’re playing good hockey right now, its already positive far that we’re competing with them fairly well.
After a long road trip and a back to back, as long as we stay in the game and play a good system consistently this is such an improvement over the past few years.
Decent 1st, hopefully we can keep it up and give ourselves a chance to stay in the game.
