I know people are gonna comment about how we’re gonna fall off and all but winning games we don’t deserve because we finish our chances better and our power play is clicking is sure a welcome change.
Great game out of Allen though. If we do trade him I’m gonna be sad to see him go.
Guhle looked like he hadn’t missed a beat. Which is good, since depending on what happens with Matheson we may need him playing first pair minutes.
Barron also continues to be strong.
We really need to grit it out until Dvorak is back and then the top two lines can be reconfigured into something that hopefully works better.
Allen deserved that win.
Anderson is an anchor and should be demoted down the lines.
But some of you need to check yourselves. Legit had 2 great shifts before, and in OT when he coughed up the puck because he was gassed from a very long shift battling for the puck. The criticism overall is warranted but some of the call outs are non sensical and is annoying to see in the GDTs.
IT WAS 3-1! FUCK THE JETS AND FUCK THE LEAFS! GO HABS GO!

– Stolen game by Jake ALLEN!
– Monahan if he can still healthy will routinely be in the good. Give him a camp in the good. Camp Monahan 🏕
– Guhle excellent in his return to the lineup.
– Game where I thought I could tell a bit in that OT they knew they had the better goalie and if they get it to a shootout they’d win. Which they did.
– Joel Armia. Excellent!
– The penalty kill was excellent led by the routinely solid two way player Jake Evans.
*BAD*
– I could elaborate deeper but really feel like Slaf is completely lost on the ice. It’s not so much the glaring errors that’s totally fine it’s his confidence that I wonder about. One point got the puck in the middle of the high slot, froze and just passed it to a d man outside the zone.
– Slaf is getting no favours playing with someone who has had a terrible start to the year in Josh Anderson.
– Xhekaj chill on the penalties.
In my opinion Slaf’s worst game this season, he was struggling.
Not impressed by Anderson in this game either.
Our PK keeps doing it’s job well.
Also, shout out to Jauque Alain for putting in that work.
