The Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers will play in the 2023 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Alberta, on Oct. 29.
The seventh Heritage Classic will return to Commonwealth Stadium for the 20th anniversary of the first NHL regular-season outdoor game. The Montreal Canadiens defeated the Oilers 4-3 in the 2003 NHL Heritage Classic in front of 57,167 fans at the home of the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League.

Give McDavid a rest. He's not a cash cow . He's a man and human being. He's carried the Edmonton Oilers and NHL for the last 5 years. Give him a break, let him get to his best, and if the Oilers were good enough, they'd make the post season and McDavid can return around game 70 or so.
