Slav is a bust, he gets knocked of the puck as usual which led to a goal. Armia is back and Slav shoud be sent down.
Monahan is a tough one. If he keeps playing like he is, the return could be huge for him, but at the same time, if he keeps playing like he is and stays healthy, do you really want him to go.
I guess it depends on where the team is in the standings come trade deadline. If they are out of a playoff spot and not really a chance to get in, then I think you have to trade him. Nothing saying there isn't some agreement that they trade him, get what they can, and then resign him come July.
Montreal is playing terrible. They have gotten so lucky. Outshot every game. Can make any passes. Slaf is starting to regress again.
Can you go to all the Allen games?
From my point of view, if not for Allen, the Habs lose. The Habs have still not corrected their sloppy play defensively 5-on-5 (PK was good) and being indisciplined at terrible moments in the game. If they do not clean up those issues, it will catch up to them eventually. Now with that said, a win is a win and I have to give the Habs credit for coming back after that horrid start in the 2nd period. Glad to see Guhle back, hope Matheson is not seriously injured, I still want to see a more consistent 60min game out of Caufield (others may disagree as his stats look impressive) and I really think Slaf needs time in the AHL to find his confidence and put some NHL structure into his game. Safe drive back to Niagara DD!
Didn't want to be the black cloud, but other people are saying it…. those two goals are 100% on Slaf because man he just got shoved around and totally played no defense. Like is it a confidence issue or what's the deal? Otherwise, not going to complain about a win and our record, did not imagine this kinda start to the season. If we wanna some how stay were we are though, we need to start tightening things up.

CGY mistreated him. Paid us to get rid of him. He's our boy now, and I hope he ain't going nowhere. And if the business takes him away at the end of the season, I hope Hughues keeps his phone number real close for next season.

thank you drew for saying there penalty kill needed to get more aggressive!!! st louie listened to you!!! see it works when it makes sense …. yes gulie, armia, kovasevech played really good , harvy pinard , monahan & allen awsome.. but you drew made the difference on the penalty kill. our guys were not trying to block shots they were trying ( & successfully) knocking the puck away…. & yes drew the best thing for slav would be to go to lavel & stay there so he doesn't end up like KK… again congratulations drew honesty is still the best policy!!!
