We need to concentrate our player down the center line on the ice goal too goal. Stagger the players so the transition game rate of attack is reduced ( speed) in the back check let's skate to a position and force the flow to where we want them to be. So basically skate too the center line rather than over pursuit, trust the goalie to be connected to the play and no more trade secrets online… I kinda upgraded the league when that was meant for Oilers intelligence files.
When Warren Foegele is thrusted into the spotlight seemingly because he's been the best player on the team, that's exactly how bad this team has gotten. Up until a week ago the only stat Foegele was leading the team with was having the most "e" 's in his name.
Ok I’m an Oiler fan , i started watching them the day the started into league soooo many years ago. I lived the glory days in the 80’s and some of the 90’s…was pissed to see so many greats leave, but thats hockey, business and family and through it all, the highs and lows, their still and always will be MY TEAM ! Nope I’m not happy just like every Oiler fan out there but one thing i won’t do is count them out or give up on them, because thats not what a REAL fan does…IMO
This franchise battles letdowns and complacency like a herion addict…. the more this team loses the giddier Woody gets…. The problems on this team are not going to just drift into place and magically correct themselves ~ they have to be pushed into place…Is there enough pushing going on in Edmonton?
