    Purdue should have won this game. A lot of mental errors by the new coaching staff. Didn’t look too bad in a tough loss. But the missed field goal instead of going for it. The running up the gut over and over again instead of bouncing it out. The concervitive play calling and not making adjustments on defense to take away the slants that we’re killing us. Fresno is a solid team and should do well. Purdue will bounce back and make it to a bowl game.

    Mikey Keane was impressive! You wouldnt know the 'O' lost some superstars ..looks like they didnt miss a beat. MWC better start planning now. They ended last year in the Top 25. They should be back in with winning 10 in a row now or close.again!!!

    Boiler fan here… hats off to the Bulldogs who showed up ready to play and looked like they played with purpose. Not many bad throws from their QB, and the D played well to keep Purdue O. off the field. Fresno coaches 1 Purdue coaches 0. The teams looked well matched talent wise. On to week two for the Boilermakers and maybe they will be able to find a way to play with the kind of purpose Fresno showed – if not it may be a LONG season. Too much swagger without purpose will get you a loss.
