We’re dinged because we have a high shooting percentage and have a high save percentage. Moneypuck considers that unsustainable. If we took more shots and had goaltending closer to league average, we’d be ranked higher.

It’s just a statistical model. That model REALLY does not like that we don’t have a 70 point player on our team. That model REALLY does not like that our 3rd and 4th line get the scoring that they do and the ice time that they do.
People getting mad at this is like people getting mad at election models during voting season.
