OMG Becky! This team is full of players top to bottom who simply find creative new ways to lose possession of the puck. I’ve never seen a team try to make blind, behind the back, backhand passes as the Flames this season. Just watch for them and count. At least 7 such passes to nobody in the slot or middle of the ice tonight alone, which is probably more than they had genuinely good, 1A, passes this game.
Until Murray sells, dies, or gets a visit from the ghost of failed seasons future, this sad middling idea of being perennially competitive is all we will have.
