On the eve of the arrival of Patrick Kane, the Rangers arrived at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia to take on the lowly Flyers. An up and down effort, the Rangers would score their two regulation goals off passes and shots by Vladimir Tarasenko. Then, in OT, stormed down center ice and beat Flyers goaltender Carter Hart to seal the deal in what has been his best performance as a Ranger as of this upload.

The 2nd goal was fitting on a night where the answer to the trivia question was Ryan Callahan, that the Rangers pick up a tying goal by flinging it in the direction of the net, as was Cally's philosophy on many nights pucks towards the net make good things happen

Loving Vlad, but Mikkola is a silent all star. His performance is just as good as Tarasanko's has been but just in different context being a defenseman
As a Ranger's fan for well over 40 years, I can say it's nice to see how well they've ben playing overall both last season and so far this season. However, I'm concerned that they play too much from behind and that will not bode well in the playoffs. Also, we still need another good face off man. I don't know much about Patrick Kane but I don't think he'll fill that role. We still loose too many face offs. I think that was one of the key reasons why we lost to Tampa Bay in the Conference Finals last year.
