Firstly, it’s a status update for Micheal Ferland; the Canucks free agent signee of 2019 who really hasn’t played much due to unfortunate circumstances. Could we see him on LTIR?
Secondly, we’re talking about one of the Canucks top prospects in Jack Rathbone, who will be making his way to Vancouver.

Thanks for keeping your finger on the Canucks pulse for us. As far as the D for this year, I'm thinking that the top 4 guys are pretty obvious; Hughes, Schmidt, Edler, Myers. After that, I'd love to see Juolevi, Benn and Rafferty, if possible. Maybe have Benn as your #5 and alternate the other 2 guys to ease them into their roles. Of course that would mean Benn would have to alternate from side to side each game. From what limited exposure we had to Juolevi and Rafferty in their limited NHL minutes, they are low risk players. What are your thoughts on that? You have to play the young guys at some point, right?

I don't think it is likely to come back from his concussion issues. Crosby did but how? Joleivi looked pretty calm in a pressure cooker . Impressed with his few minutes and would like to see more. As for Rathbone, I think it was great to practice with NHLers. Can only be good. Might see a totally new guy. His skating and offence is pretty good. Very well could replace someone.
I think ferland should retire or at least take this season off
