  1. My prediction for both Pittsburgh and Washington is that they'll both end up like the Sabres did last season – both scoring and giving up around 300 goals, and just missing the playoffs. Both teams look quite good on offense, but look very weak on defense. Carlson and Sandin is a great duo for the Capitals, but it's an offense first duo, and not very good on the defensive side, kind of like having two Erik Karlssons on the ice at the same time. The Capitals have the edge over Pittsburgh for goaltending, but I think that Levi will be good enough for the Sabres that Buffalo will narrowly beat out both teams and claim the final playoff spot this year.

  2. Who in the world scheduled a game like Arizona and New Jersey so early in the year?

Let me guess: the Yotes are starting off another season with a 6-game road trip through New England away ftom Mullett Crackerbox?

  3. HOLY SHIT
I WOULD'VE BEEN HAPPY WITH ANYTHING LESS THAN AN 8X8 THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE FUCKING STEAL FOR TAZER

  4. I’m thrilled about the Toews signing. It needed to happen – he’s too important. And much respect to him in taking the team discount! Real trooper and team guy. đź‘Ť Cups>money

I’m curious and concerned how Sakic and C-Mac will make this work with the cap, next season, though, because Landeskog’s salary should be back on the books, and even with the projected cabarets, I think we would still be over. Besides, not much money is off the books with expired contracts after this season. Another concern, though not immediate, is what the Avs will do two offseasons from now when they have to try and figure out how to keep Rantanen, Byram, and Georgiev all in the same year. Praying for huge cap raises before then! This is a subject that would be really interested to see a video analysis and discussion on.

  5. 7 years is to much for Toews. til he's 37-38. I get the pay raise. But Next summer Colorado has some interesting things to do, just to get 23 players on the ice. 14 players $84,872,500, projected cap $87,500,000, cap space of $2,627,500 to sign 9 players. My guess Nichushkin might be the choice to get rid of, at a cap of $6,125,000. maybe Johansen or Manson since they both have a year left after this year of 4 mil each. Will be interesting what they do.
