Not making the playoffs last year was a blessing in disguise (yes we know Sutter obviously wasn’t the entire problem but he had the entire organization walking on egg shells)
And the heritage classic loss will be another. We know we were that bad but now Ownership can’t hide now that the entire nhl saw how bad we are because of a spotlight game.

I think they have a month here to really turn it around or they’re going to have to retool or maybe even rebuild.
I’m really hoping they get going, but if they don’t go on a heater here, I can’t see them staying the course. Unfortunately if they do rebuild, they’ve really set themselves up for a miserable one.

The time was last offseason after your two stars left when there was an incredible draft class coming the following year. Instead we did the usual Flames bullshit of trying to compete when we didn’t have the talent to do so and missed out.
