Hey JD Young. Idky, but I always seen Joe Thornton as a Bruin, despite all the years he played for the Sharks.

I guess I expected him, to really be the last piece, to win the Sharks a cup(or three). If memory serves me correct, it took fan pressure, for him to start putting the team on his back? Also, I expected, another player to fill the Joe Thornton to Jonathan Cheechoo role, when Jonathan Cheechoo got traded (meaning, that Joe Thornton could make others around him way better, like when Jonathan Cheechoo had his Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy year.) That never happened.
It wasn't his game to do this, however, didn't believe he really was the force, that I expected him to be. A real dominant force, in all aspects. The skill was there. The ability to take over a game, was there. Just didn't see it enough. Really expected more season of over 100 points a season…AT LEAST, over 90-95. Just my fan take. Let's Go Sharks!
