Honestly. What the fuck is up with our schedule? 12 of our first 18 games on the road? We have 4 of the next 5 games at home then we have another 4 game road trip.

  2. 8teamparlay

I mean that’s just a game that truly good teams win. Never really played our A game, couldn’t get a ton going for long stretches but we stuck to a good defensive game plan, got a big powerplay goal and buried it in OT.

Some brilliant penalty killing, fantastic goaltending from Igor, and just a great job by everyone playing as a team and not trying to do too much.

Great game by cuylle especially, and 10 looks like he did his first year here when he was an absolute game breaker every single night.

  4. Henrietttta

Vally is SO giddy after that W and I love it

  5. SpaceBass18

This may actually be the most exciting Rangers team I’ve ever watched. I thought they were going to be mediocre this year. Never been this happy to be wrong.

  6. StaticShockk

    NO LOSSES.
WEST COAST IS NOT BEST COAST.

so after the game I hopped in the shower and idk as ones mind does in the shower I was like damn how does conditioner actually work. and my high ass was like probs chemistry like those special teams lines could probably untangle my hair too

and I’m not even joking about this whole ass thought process, moral of the story is I think I really am starting to love this team? it somehow even makes washing my hair better?

  8. Absolutely love the look of this team. They ace the eye test

  9. vladley

For whatever stupid reason I stayed up to watch all 5 of these games. What a payoff. I legit ran around my room after the OT winner.

    God I missed hockey.

I honestly am getting scared that the Rangers are “good at hockey” merchants.

  12. unibobbler

PK stood out in a good way this entire road trip, especially tonight.

i’ve got some nits to pick, but now’s not the time…

    LETS. GO. RANGERS.

  13. Outtie_5000

Only game I went to so far this year was 1. My birthday and 2. A loss. Fuck hahah

  14. ShouniAishaKuma

Great win for the boys! They were tired, sloppy, officiating was horrible both ways, but they got the job done.

Schneids still struggling a bit but fortunately Panarin has been playing like a man possessed. Kids looked subdued but each had a few good moments here and there.

Western Canada ain’t got nothing on us!

  15. munsuro

3rd best points, 2nd best GA. Good start!

    hell yea

  17. jmakuta7

Defense, structure, and special teams have been massive this road trip. Figure out how to get secondary scoring and 5v5 scoring going and they’re going to be really cooking. See you at the garden Thursday, LGR

  18. ZucchiniLife2542

Great comeback team has good fighting spirit…. However we suck 5 on 5 and I hope we improve. Still lots of season for that

  19. BuffStudman

UGLY game but getting these points early on will be huge later in the season.

  20. OBlastSRT4

So how are we feeling with Laviolette so far? Let’s be honest, same team as last year but a few little differences. No Tarasenko, no Kane (thank god) etc. We look like we’re actually fighting for pucks and not being lazy. Not overpassing etc. Love what I’m seeing.

  21. Grouchy-Power-806

Valley said we are the best team vs the rush this year.

I had noticed it a few games ago that we weren’t giving up the blue line so easily as we had in years past.

  22. RainandPixels

I assume Blake Wheeler’s daughters are too young to know how to analyze hockey. All they saw was their dad win haha.

  23. ridgeraider21

Amazing win. This is a game they lose 5-1 last year EASILY. 5v5 still needs some fine tuning and still need to ship wheeler and goodrow off to Siberia.

  24. ItsHeadbangerG

Get ya brooms out, it’s time to do some housekeeping!

I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect them to win all five games, but I am ecstatic they did. Much like the outing against Vancouver, Winnipeg was a tough nut to crack. Lots of turnovers and an extremely sloppy giveaway *cough*Blake*cough*. Shesty gave a couple up, but slammed the floodgates closed. The Breadman, continues to serve it up hot and fresh. Kreider doing what he does best in the crease, and Mika with the oh so beautiful OT missile to seal the deal.

To my dear friends the referees. Go fuck yourself. At any point could you have gone back to the tape and reviewed the play to see Appleton fall on his own accord, but that would second guess your authority, and we can’t have that now can we? How this league hasn’t implemented a review system for potentially unjust calls in this fast a game is beyond me.

Anywho. It’ll be a few days until we see the boys again, so to my fellow Blueshirts, I wish you a Happy Halloween, and see you Thursday!

  25. Cant believe we have a 5 mil 3rd line center and 3 mil 4th liner

  26. Fedbackster

Didn’t look good at times but pulled out another win. Good stuff.

    Let’s go fucking mental!

  28. JPmoneyman

Penguins fans are talking about firing Mike Sullivan and hiring Gerard Gallant. How fucking funny would that be.

  29. jerejeje

I’m not a violent person but I wish immense harm on every single piece of shit trying to say that Matt Petgrave is guilty of murder/manslaughter when they’ve never watched a game of hockey in their life.

  30. Key-Tip-7521

On this episode of New York Rangers Hockey: *Spooky Scary Rangers,* the night before Halloween and the night after one of the worst NFL New York Football game played, to end the long road trip, the Rangers grounded the Jets and ended the long road trip with a perfect record; 5-0-0. HISTORIC!!!! Now, the review

1st: This was a period at first really eh. exchanges back and forth. Laf and Kakko missing on breakaways. You could say they missed, or Hellebuyck made nice saves. But, late in the period on his birthday, the Bald Bread gets to the dirty area pots the first one. s dnem rozhdeniya Bread! But seconds later, the Jets responded. Imo, their break out of their(Jets) own zone and into the Rangers zone was good. Too many stick lifting. stick with your man. Pity the puck went in.

2nd: Joe said it during the game, the Rangers turnovers at the blue line were bad tonight. Key made some nice back tracking (I think it was in previous period). But to me, what really was special, was the penalty kill. You could say the Jets PP was shitty, but you could say the kill was great. Been great on this road trip. Igor was doing Igor things.

3rd Period: This period, could have been the sign of fatigue setting in from the long road trip. Ehlers got the goal to give the Jets lead. After Schneids pinch(looked like too aggressive there), but no back checking there. Nice wrap around. it seemed like this game was going to head to the Jets, Hellebuyck making saves when needed. Until a late power play. Who else but Christopher James Kreider using horse meat tipping skills to equalize. Chris Kreider,(whispers) it’s a power play goal! As it looked like OT was more likely, a susy tripping call. Maybe karma from the previous game? from the replay, honestly, that wasn’t a trip.

OT: The penalty kill continued. Amazing. Jets hesitancy wasn’t the Rangers problem. But the Jets problem was stopping Mika’s GWG from the Bread man’s pass. Unbelievable win.

This road trip started in Seattle, ended in Winnipeg. Started off w/playing w/the lights out, and ended w/possible burn out. Again, fix the turnovers I’ll be happy. The French Toast line is it called? Continues to cook. Bread specifically. If the first line gets going (on 5v5), chefs kiss. Like Mika, once he heats up, we all know what happens. Finding ways to win. Gritty and toughness. Blue collar win right here. Rangers Win! That was a great trip. *Spooky Scary Rangers. Sends shivers down your spine. Blocking shots, scoring goals, sealed 2 points tonight!*

Onto the Canes. Brief home game. BIG in division game. Oppie send a telegram saying one thing; Take in the Sheets. 2 Points in the Bag!

Keep up the good mojo. Onto the Canes

God Save the King. Back afta dis.
