Mailloux/Norlinder Goals/Farrell Heating Up (4 PTs/3 GMs)/Roy Adds PT 10-27-23

Logan Maillloux has now scored in back to back games as he looks to find his way in the AHL. Mattias Norlinder showed off some nice moves on his goal. Sean Farrell could have had 2 or 3 points tonight, another impressive showing after struggling a bit in the first few games he’s picked up 4 points in the last 3 games. Joshua Roy just keeps putting up points, he’s now got 12 on the season in just 6 games, unreal.

It was a rough night for Jakub Dobes as more defensive breakdowns from William Trudeau, Mattias Norlinder and others certainly aren’t making his job any easier but it’s getting concerning at how many goals he’s giving up and what the solution is.

Dobes – stopped 34 of 40, 2 pims
Mailloux – 1 goal, 2 shots, 2 pims, +1
Norlinder – 1 goal, 3 shots, Even
Roy – 1 assist, 6 shots, +1
Farrell – 1 assist, 2 shots, +1
Simoneau – 1 assist, +1
Trudeau – 1 assist, 3 shots, -1
Condotta – 1 assist, 4 shots, +1

Mailloux Goal – 3:05
Norlinder Goal – 1:47
Roy Assist – 14:52

  1. Horrible defense. But their PP looks decent with Roy, Andersson, Farrell at times.

  2. Dobes wasn't that bad, it's really the defense in front of him, lots and lots of shots come for way too close. Breakaways and deviated shots are dmens' responsibilities first. The offense support from the dmen was great though!
