  1. I haven't been watching the Flyers in 10+ years because I knew they sucked but was interested to see this year and I am surprised how down you guys sound because this was IMO a great game back & forth and they went toe to toe with a cup contender who is DEEP and FAST and I felt they were the better team during most of the 3rd period & pretty much overall through the first couple wks which is something I could NOT say at any point in the past decade!!! To be honest I was really hoping the fall in top 3 of he draft but man at this point I am seeing they're definitely not the worst 5 in the NHL thats' for sure!!!

  2. Im being hypocritical. To a degree. Im creering with them when they score and bumming when they are scored upon. But the "quietly" rejoicing when they lose. I want a high draft pick.

  3. Nice to hear what Phantoms did in respect of Adam Johnson. I am a British ice hockey fan and its been a shock to the whole hockey community here. It appears neck guards are going to be made compulsory from next season for at least some leagues.

  4. The Flyers' talent level on the Power Play is just plain terrible. Their shot selection & accuracy sucks, they waste so much time trying to bring the puck up-ice & trying to pass it around for the perfect look. It often leads to turnovers. And when they do shot it's often 'high & wide' as the announcers say. Like not being able to throw a beach ball into the ocean despite standing on a deserted island shoreline. Asst Coach Rocky Thompson has to be held accountable too. He was hired because of his 'power play guru' reputation, having developed some of the sport's strongest collegiate PP programs, having put together 2 Stanley Cup winning PP unit teams. But his texture as the PP expert here has been dead last in the league for going into 3 years. It can't all be on the players, right ?
