when I watch Woll play, I see a goalie who's got his angles and fundamentals down solid. I have never got that impression from watching Samsonov. If the Leafs are looking to improve their team and at the same time cut $2.6 Million from the cap, the solution is to trade Samsonov for a draft pick and bring up Martin Jones to split the duties with Woll.
oh, and BTW – it looks like Justin Holl is having a great start to the season with Detroit. I always battled his haters – he's very underrated.

I'm not sure who, outside of media, is over blowing those comments. I actually think the media is responsible for 99% of the negative rep the fanbase gets as they seem to be the ones alway tearing someone down or over blowing things.

Jones is underrated. An NHL capable goalie playing in the minors??? How much do they REALLY need Sammy? I am perfectly happy with Woll and Jones.
Wolls only a year younger than Sammy and Sam's been a starting goaltender for 3+ years now.

It wouldn’t be surprising. Need to remember, Washington let him go for nothing. It’s not like Samsonov is some established top goalie in the league
