In 1990, WWF was all about big, jacked up guys. Shane had a good build, especially in the Attitude Era, but he was never going to get a major push with all those big guys at the top of the card.

Shane Douglas & Jeff Jarrett should co-own an upstart Pro Wrestling promotion.
He should’ve never left ECW. He was a god there.

In some ways I feel like he hurt himself by staying in ECW too long. He was very infamous after the NWA title trashing and he did initially put ECW on the map after Pauly worked the old ECW / Tri State Wrestling Alliance guy's out of the fed or down to the midcard. I loved old philly PWF/Tri-State Wrestling Alliance matches.

Couldn't stand Shane in WWF. In ECW he took heel to a great level and it worked.

I was actually a fan of Shane around this time in 1990/91 when I was a youngster.
Rockstar? Honestly he could have been an early incarnation of what Chris Jericho later perfected & became.
One of Shane's best runs I ever saw, albeit short, was when he tagged with Steamboat.
