  1. can't believe the habs picked a 3rd rounder first overall lol

he needs time apparently, funny how fantilli & bedard didn't need time, just admit he's a bum lol

  2. He is playing on a line with Anderson who has exactly the same points. The issue as far as I'm concerned is who he is playing with

  3. Straight to Laval, btw he played top6 minutes the whole season so far, so ice time isn't the issue, for the head low issue ive seen him a few times get a little wake up call, but its true that it isn’t as bad as last year.

He just looks lost 24/7 and cant create much by himself despite having all the tools and opportunities, he’s not using his speed that he clearly has nor his strength either.

I’m tired of people blaming his underperformance on other players, yes Newhook is not a center, but its the only guy they had right now who could play the role of Dach potentially without destroying other lines, same goes with Anderson : “if he had any finish Slaf would have 5 passes”, yeah by barely doing anything and have Anderson be more lucky in break aways … why can’t Slaf create his own opportunities ? Idc that Dach made Slafkovsky look better in the end of camp and 2 games, that’s the effect any good center has on anyone even a potato.

I can almost guarantee that anyone else in the lineup in the same position and ice time would have done better, even Armia and Ylonen.

  4. I can't belive that MSL and he's staff still have a job and how about Hughes how can he be a manager when they don't know that Slafkovsky is not a NHL player shame on them fire them NOW!
Only top 4 after 9 game's if Slafkovsky wasn't there they would be WHERE ?😂

  5. Sometimes it takes longer for big guys to develop. You can say the same thing for Quinton Byfield.

  6. Slaf is not aplay maker, not even close, he is more power forward.
I honestly still dont know why we draft him.

  7. He's learning to choose his battles and using his frame. His points aren't good obviously but when you look at the games he looks like he's an emerging nhl player. He still lacks confidence though.

  8. it took how many years for Tage Thompson to be the player that he's today?… So be patient you wannabe experts/GM/HockeyTrolls.

  9. It’s surely a confidence thing because you can see that he has the touch and make good passes. But he doesn’t thrive to the net with conviction and doesn’t shoot a lot or when he shoots, he miss or bad shot. I think the best for him is to find himself in Ahl

  10. Emo fans reacted the same way with Brendan Shanahan scoring 7 goals and 19 assists in his first season. He is now a proud member of the Hall of Fame.
Emo fans take up too much space on social media. Chill Out!

  11. Ultimately it's up to MSL IMO.

HABS management rely heavily on our coach's input. MSL is a players coach and a shrewd one.

  12. If Anderson scored on slafs passes he’d been leading the habs in assist but that’s not an excuse for not scoring or his turn overs
