F the media no one cares… we winning games
Who cares who’s named “captain”. He’s the real captain in the locker room and the team leader.
Miller only talks to the media when he wants to pout. He looks really uncomfortable when he has to say something positive. It's not a criticism. It's just his personality. Sure, it's probably why he's not the captain, but that doesn't mean he's not a valuable member of the team – when he's buying in. I don't care how many goals he scores this year. Plus/minus is a debatable stat at the best of times, but for Miller it actually tells you something. If he can be in double digits on the positive side, I'll be happy with his performance.
how do we know it was millers decision to avoid media and not someone elses?

He was embarrassed he got benched by Tochet if it had been Bruce or Travis I bet he would have talked. I did not like the way Tochet was put in power but I like his style. I think Travis green is a special teams coach with NJ now?

JT isn't into wasting his energy on the media…he finds them annoying. He's been heard saying "all the media in Van can suck my thick 1"!
