  1. What part of this looks like a freak accident? It is clear Johnson was attacked intentionally.

  2. The tragic death of Adam Johnson was no accident, yet the media hastily rallied to defend Matt Petgrave. There is no denying that Matt, with precision, raised his leg and swung his hockey skate blade toward Adam's neck – an action far removed from any accidental occurrence. In fact, there exists no logical justification for a hockey player to maneuver his leg in such a manner, especially given that this sort of incident is unprecedented in the sport's history.

Notably, Matt Petgrave holds the unenviable distinction of being one of the most penalized players in the league and has earned the dubious title of "the dirtiest player." This fact alone raises questions about his intent and history.

The swiftness with which the media brushed aside what is evidently a grave offense may stem from the ethnicity of the accused. Were the roles reversed, and the aggressor were a white individual, it is plausible that charges ranging from murder to manslaughter would have already been filed.

It's vital to remember that these athletes are highly skilled individuals, renowned for their precision and superhuman strength. There is simply no justification for directing a dangerous and potentially lethal weapon, a hockey skate blade, toward another player's upper body. Most hockey players, even in moments of anger, avoid involving their razor-sharp skates in any altercation. This is something ethically sound individuals with standards and morals would never contemplate.

The outcome now hinges on the police investigation, with the hope that it remains uninfluenced by political interests. Should the government or any faction of the media sway the investigation, this perpetrator may very well escape the justice he deserves.

  3. A solid nic to a major artery and your dead in under 45 seconds. Not much can be done besides maybe trying to pinch the artery with two fingers or place pressure, but then they'd risk choking him to death. Poor guy. RIP.
