Tyler Motte and Travis Hamonic met with the media today and expressed how excited they are to get back on the ice with their teammates.
We’ll see when they suit up: Motte is eligible to return on Friday whereas Hamonic could play as early as tomorrow.

What stood out to you from what Tyler Motte and Travis Hamonic said today?
I really am excited to see both of them back I was also wondering what are there contracts we have both for another year or two
Very happy to have both back.
I was so happy to see Motte greeting the players on vid the other day. I feel quite endeared to him after his "coming out" about depression. In fact, I was concerned that was still part of the reason he was out. It was great to see him greeting the team, though. He looks stoked, and a stoked Motte is solid on the ice.
w/ Hamonic, I think he may be just the magic cog between offense and defense that the team needs. Frankly, just relieved to have him back. Covid is a curious animal for the collective psyche, as it is for the Canucks.
excited to see both of them back.. couldnt really pick one over the other…..although i will say tyler mott is underpaid…
I am seriously so happy to see Motte back. He was a sensational player during the 19/20 playoffs.
Very excited to see what this young man can do, as opposed to seeing what the "Superstars" fail to do.
Both add depth, but I'm hoping Hamonic's return makes an impact with reducing the time spent in the defensive end and give the forwards a boost in terms of confidence in the D pairings. Hard for forward when you're gassed from chasing the puck around in your own zone.

Well Hamonic will at least help stop Demko from getting shelled every night. As far as that powerplay goes though, I really don't know why the Canucks are having a hard time with gaining and keeping the zone. Game after game, we're seeing them chase the puck around. I don't know about Travis Green, but Newell Brown's power play is looking stale again. It might be time for a new look from another assistant coach.
I think Motte will improve our penalty kill & overall tenacity in our forward group, im excited
when motte is ready, who goes down? imo pods should go down and plan big minutes in abby. i'ld like to see motte with dickensin and garland.
