  1. Where is Montreal drafting in the 5th round. I seen Mason Mctavish in the ohl he started strong and then he stopped scoring im hoping he is not coming back to the Peterborough Pete's he is on and off Nick Robertson told him off for being lazy and not a team player

  2. I agree with your pick for Ottawa; Mason McTavish at 10th. However, a couple things worth mentioning…

1 – There are rumours in Ottawa that The Sens are really high on Brandt Clarke. And if he drops to 8th, as he did on your list here, there’s a very real chance that Pierre Dorion does what he needs to to move up two spots to get him. Dorion has a history of moving up to get the guy he wants. He did it last draft to ensure getting Tyler Kleven. And he did it a couple years before that to get Logan Brown (I THINK that was 2017). Chabot, Brännström, Sanderson, Bernard-Docker, Thomson, CLARKE. Talk about building your team from the back end.

2 – This one is really just based on my own reasoning, but you gotta think Ottawa at least CONSIDERS Fabian Lysell. Imagine him and Stützle on a line together! Ottawa is VERY thin when it comes to right shot forwards. Batherson, Pinto, White, C. Brown, Sokolov, Amadio (who’s a depth scrub). I’m pretty sure that’s it. All other players, and all other prospects shoot left (except maybe one or two late round picks like Daoust – I don’t know his handed ness off the top of my head). So him being a right shot might be enough of an asset to sway Dorion et al in his favour.

Ultimately, I agree – Mason McTavish. He’s just too good of a fit, style-wise. And Dorion has said as recently as the 2020-21 season end media press conference, that when he and Troy Mann draft, they don’t think about positional need, or things like that. They are very much a best player available type mentality, and they also look for someone who FITS the mould of the type of team they have been trying to build. And I think if McTavish is indeed available when Ottawa is up to the virtual podium, they take Mason McTavish in a heart beat. And I’ll be damned glad to have him.

One more thing: Maybe Ottawa gets some lottery luck and lands Guenther or maybe even Beniers. 👍

  3. Why would San Jose take Clarke 🤔 they have burns Karlsson Vlasic and Merkley already. Makes more sense to go with someone like Raty

  4. I’d rather have San Jose pick the goalie at 7th they really need that more than anything imo

  5. According to your sim:
    1. Beniers
    2. Powers
    3. Clarke
    4. Eklund
    5. Guenther
    6. Edvinsson
    7. Johnson
    8. Lysell
    9. Hughes
    10. Sillinger
    11. forfeited
    12. Mctavish
    13. Wallstedt
    14. Lambos
    15. Lucius
    16. Svozil

  6. That draft looks quite underwhelming to say the least. Maybe it's because I'm so used to seeing draft franchise potential prospects like McDavid, Matthews, Hughes, and Dahlin.

  7. Sens Fan
    The Dream Pick:Clarke
    The Nice Pick:Lysell
    The OK Pick:McTavish
The Wtf is Dorian doing pick:Raty

  8. I feel like your underrating Lysell, he is one of the few elite potential players this draft, it is just unfortunate that he plays on the islanders of the SHL

  9. If in fact Raty get this close to the Rangers would jump up and get him at 14 we need Centers in our system in the worst way this could be a great value play
