Just some more typical Leafs rumor mill garbage that never goes anywhere. If either are available the leafs have neither the money nor assets to be players. The flames don't have the money to retain salary. Even with $10 tickets they have some of the worst attendance in the NHL and are hemorrhaging cash. The D isn't bad because they aren't physical enough, they are bad because they suck at playing defense. When Rielly and Brodie are your top pair you know you're in deep shit. Reilly is a defensive liability and Brodie has gotten old and slow. Giordano could die from old age at any minute. What does Treliving do to address this? Goes out and gets Klingberg who is almost a -60 in his last two seasons, and an already injured Bertuzzi to fill out your top 6 when your bottom 6 is devoid of players with actual NHL talent. He destroyed the Flames, and now he's well on his way with the leafs.
I have been saying I want Zadorov for like 3 years. Guy is a beast. I love the way he plays.

Leafs HATE defensive minded players, so don't bother suggesting Zadorov…and definitely don't worry about how they fit another $4-5m in cap space onto a team that already has a cap hit of $94.7m when the cap is $83.5m. Yay Robidas island. Maybe look at the fact that the team is wasting 57% of their cap space on FIVE guys that are soft as velvet? Nah…that can't be it. LMAO
Zadorov is what leafs need we don't need offense back there we have klingburg and Reilly , going the other way lijigren and Robertson and a 3rd would get it done "if" he will sign a 1-2 year extension., if he doesn't want to do it that then McCabe and a pick should be enough
