That player had 0 class. He did not give a fuck.
He just stuck around long enough to confirm he injured him. Pretty obvious the contact was intentional. Not that he planned that, but he took the opportunity to not try and avoid making contact. Basically passive aggressive.
So whatโs the punishment for this? I think it was Tom Lysiak ( without a google search) of the Flyers in early 80s? Did this to a linesman and got 20 gamesโฆI think? This guy should be tossed for the year, that was absolutely deliberate, in fact he actually nudged at him.
That was intentional, he skated into referee and put his shoulder into him. He has no respect for the game if he thinks thatโs ok.
It's stupid having 4 refs in that little band box of a hockey rink.
