    Sammy played great.

Leafs still kinda stink and are still soft as shit.

🎶 It’s the circle of the Leafs 🎶

Get bullied > Don’t retaliate to avoid taking a penalty > Inspire hope > Lose game anyway > They promise the playoffs will be different > Get bullied in the playoffs > Do nothing > Lose the war

    Without fail. Every year.

Edit: Lol this coward below /u/Internal-Detail-8191 really replied then blocked me so I couldn’t respond. A true Leaf. You’d fit right in with our players.

    Here’s my response anyway

    Almost like I predicted it.

You’ve been recycling the same this is our year shit for 5 years. But go off king and tell me more about what I should say to win your approval because that matters to me so much

  3. Morganvegas

Who cares about a shootout. Sammy was nice tonight.

We killed a penalty in OT. That’s a W to me

  4. Why are we even paying Ryan Reaves money? Who is stopping him from doing his job?

  5. Seems Leafs are trying to see if they can make Reaves play actual hockey. Lets end that experiment soon please

  6. TheLoomingMoon

What a coach Keefe is. No other coach out there is smart enough to play Kampf over 2 minutes in OT. And his line juggling, just incredible.

  7. RestartNick

My favourite part of that game was our response when Marchand intentionally injured one of our defencemen. Probably shaking in his skates right now. I bet he is heading home crying.

Bruins are going to set another all time regular reason record aren’t they?

  9. uo_taipon

This team has no heart, Yes I am aware that its been said many times. but tonight was extra pathetic.

  10. Sammy was good tonight but I’m still so jealous of the bruins goaltending.

  11. The-Only-Razor

Boston loses their top 2 centers and are still the best team in the league. Success comes so easy for some.

  12. Budsy2112

I’m so fucking sick of this team never responding to cheap shots.

  13. 34GoLeafsGo34

call me crazy buuuut i don’t think this team is winning a cup

  14. Leafs have no heart, not even sticking up for their own players. If a leaf slewfooted a bruin like that they would have been hammered…

  15. FartsMcDouglas

Love the leafs, but I hate this teams culture.

  16. terminese

So Boston beats us up once again. Marchand’s dirty play injures Llijegran and nobody does shit, same old soft Leaf team. Nothing changes.

  17. ltDoBeLikeThat_

This team is going nowhere with Keefe. Brad for the love of god hire a coach that meshes with the style of play you’re going for!

  18. Idk how you see Marchand injure your teammate and just not do anything. Team is just too soft and I’m tired of relying on 1 guy to provide toughness.

  19. The result didn’t matter, what mattered is how the team was going to respond to the hit on Liljegren. And no one did a fucking thing to Marchand the rest of the game. If this team is not in a playoff spot after thanksgiving you have to fire Keefe and trade one of the core. Matthews and Marner are probably the most skilled Leafs I’ll see in my lifetime, but they are absolutely not leaders and it is evident the longer they are Leafs

So we overpay Reaves in both AAV and term so we can have the dirtiest player in the league and a divisional rival take an obvious cheap shot against our guy and nothing is done about it.

    What is the fucking point?

  21. ElephantShell34

Gregor is the only, and I mean only, bottom 6 forward on this team who can actually play.

The number of forwards on this team who are frankly useless is staggering.

Kampf, Reaves, Domi, Bertuzzi, Holmberg and Jarnkrok have all been essentially useless players so far. That’s half the forward lineup contributing next to nothing. They don’t play with speed or energy, they aren’t particularly physical, they don’t produce offence, they don’t play well defensively, they don’t really fill any kind of specialist role. They literally go out every night and skate around for a few minutes. Get some cardio in. That’s it.

Gregor at minimum can skate really fast, and actually seems to have the instincts to use that speed to generate SOME offensive opportunities. It is such a low bar and even he barely clears it.

It doesn’t matter who the coach is, or how you jumble up the lines, there are simply not enough quality NHL forwards on this roster to put together anything other than a mediocre lineup carried by 4 guys.

Complete and utter failure by management this offseason to put together this group and think it would be good enough.
