Reimer, Larkin & Coach Lalonde Post Game – Nov. 2 vs. FLA
James Reimer, Dylan Larkin and Head Coach Derek Lalonde speak with the media following the Red Wings matchup with the Florida Panthers at Little Caesars Arena on November 2nd, 2023.
This team has a serious puck possession issue. All these teams are pressing and Detroit cannot find the open man maintain possession. Even during the win streak it was very spotty, and it seemed most of the goals were fast breaks or power play.
NO, we're not happy with the 5 on 5…aw man, it's so worrying that Lalonde thinks if a game is close then it's just a matter of "we just couldn't score". There's a reason we couldn't score! There's a reason it's been like, 5 straight games of this!
Great we're just 11 games into the season yet we now have just had our 1st where we only needed 1 goal to at least have a chance at a point. This is going to be a long interesting season to watch with all this crap the Wings keep pulling out of their bag of ways to play.
WTH was with 1 of my favorite teams losing tonight? Stupid Red Wings had 1 task: TO GET THOSE ARROGANT PANTHERS OFF MY HATE LIST!!! (Grunts!) You just went straight beyond the TOP SECTION OF MY HATE LIST! NOW I WANT YOU PANTHER HEADS OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE! PUCK YOU TO HECK YA DIRTY DIRTBAGS!!! 🤬
all of you fair-weather fans need to chill tf out. it was a 1-0 game against the eastern conference champions. they are right there and have had a great start overall – its still so early in the season, there will be growing pains. if y'all cant handle the ups and downs of a season maybe go find something else to concern yourself with lol

Coaching is starting to be a bit concerning with Lalonde last few games
Killer job burying ghost on the 3rd pairing lalonde. Smoking that good shit this week huh
Overall Reimer has been very good with a GAA under 1.50 and an excellent save%
Chirot is on the fast track to brain damage the way he keeps his head buried coming out of corners.
I can’t believe Ras missed that wide open net 🤦
This team can’t score. Always the same issue! Can’t score! They’ll lose to Boston too. Probably another shutout.
Reimer is definitely making a case for starter. I wouldn’t be surprised if he takes the spot by first of December
They keep starting slow and playing low energy like they have been , wings are gonna go 1-9-2 in November

Shape up the damn team, Lalonde!
Another embarrassing season coming for the wings. Oh well it was fun for a few games. Can’t wait to be a basement team forever
