The Minnesota Wild lost their 4th straight game as they fell 5-3 to the New Jersey Devils at Xcel Energy Center. The Wild fell behind early 3-0 before Kirill Kaprizov scored on the Power Play to make it 3-1. Marco Rossi added another goal to make it 3-2, but the Devils would add two more Power Play goals in the final 5 minutes to seal the win. Jake Middleton scored his second goal of the season to make it 4-3 before the Devils finished the season. Matt Boldy had two assists in his return to the lineup. The Wild Penalty Kill has allowed 12 goals in 33 chances so far this year. The Wild host the New York Rangers on Saturday for their next game.

My Ballys didn't work (shocking, I know) until into the 2nd period, so I don't have much to add (shocking I know). The Wild really aren't too far off from where I thought they'd be after the 1st 10 games, I think I had them at 4-6 and they are currently 3-7. Tough month in front of them. The 8-2 Rangers 2morrow nite.
