  1. Serve: Ivanisevic
    Footwork: Federer

    Backhand: Wawrinka

  2. Mac Enroe missed a lot of easy volleys if you go back to his old videos…he also anticipated better than anyone…rafter had the best volleys, IMHO, because he didn't have a great serve compared to the others. Mac Enroe had one of the best RETURNS during his heyday…..David Ferrer and Djokovic are the other two….look at Ferrer's record vs Isner, check out the scores of his matches vs Isner, and you'll see what I mean. Isner and Karlovic have the best serves. F Ed and Tomas Berdych for forehand…and Sampras. BH and Agassi is Djokovic

  3. Like your analysis somewhat. Mcenroe as a returner of serve was underrated. I was at his last real ATP match when he won the doubles in San Francisco at the age of 47 on his birthday. I think that he was playing with Jonas Bjorkman. I am probably wrong on the partner, l know that it's easy to look it up.

In watching the match l noticed that he missed probably 1 service return the whole time. The doubles team he was facing were young guys serving pretty big so l was impressed. As far as the volleys go Mcenroe has 78 doubles titles so he was the best volleyer no question. It was universally agreed upon at the time, whose the best doubles team, Mcenroe and anyone else.

I always said that Peter Fleming was the luckiest guy in the history of tennis. Mcenroe is probably the greatest doubles player who ever lived. The credit James Blake gave him is well earned.

  4. Funny – Ivo Karlovic has better ratings and stats in almost every serve category than Isner. And even more so against the top 20 and even the top 20. I wonder why he gets forgotten about or ignored….

  5. Serve Kyrgios
    Forehand Gonzalez
    Backhand Djokovic
    Volley Edberg
    Mental toughness Djokovic

  6. Serve: Pete
    Forehand: Federer
    Backhand: Djokovic / Guga
    Net play: Rafter
    Return: Djokovic
    Mental toughness: Nadal
