McCauley is a piece of sh&t and needs to be dealt with.
That Boston debacle just goes to show that the grass isn't greener on the other side: we had an internally developed player in Pierre Engvall that could have been shining in the middle of the Leafs lineup. I use shining liberally but the utility the guy provides can't be overstated: he would have probably been playing 3C and helping push play better. Aside from grit – which we didn't see last game – what exactly do the Domi and Bertuzzi acquisitions provide that Engvall didn't? Second PP option with an underrated shot, PK mainstay, able to play C and up and down the lineup.
