How was it understandable that the refs didn’t call it? And then to add insult to injury when MacKinnon calls them on it they act like a petty little fascists that they are and give him a 10 minute misconduct along with the minor? These guys are intolerable, inexcusable. They are a disgrace to their position, and it’s no wonder everyone boos them when they come on the ice. It’s like they’re trying to be annoying. And of course the joke that is NHL ownership never does anything about them, because they are just as crooked.

The Makar hit was not only dangerous, it was dirty and intentional. Not getting a penalty was a joke and Okposo (sp) should be fined, maybe even suspended for a game.
That “cross check” on Skinner would’ve have hurt a newborn baby… one of the weakest calls I’ve ever seen. Especially with 5 seconds to go, who cares?? That haves 500 times a game.
Not to take away from Buffalo, but the Avs were just as bad as the Sabres were good.
