The lower down the boards, to that yellow dasher as its called, the harder and less flex there is with the boards.
Its like running into a brick or concrete wall. No give and it hurts.
It was his right toe that got caught up mid stride. (no trip call on Faulk warranted) I really hope heās OK. It looks like it was his collarbone that took the brunt of it.

It is one of the most vulnerable spots on the ice. Head full speed, and you get tripped near the boards. Hopefully, he just got his bell slightly rung and didn't get injured too badly.
Ouch!! Reminds me on how McDavid went into the boards in his rookie year. Hope Jack isn't out long term, he is having such a great year.

That's exactly how I went into the boards in beer league two seasons ago… grade 3 pectoral strain.
At first I thought it was his shoulder but I think he concussed himself.
Lol, goalie didn't even move or extend his stick at all. It stayed tucked in his pads. š¤·š¤£ do americans really notice nothing in videos?
Jack always trips on himself, remember the playoffs?? He's great & all but… I think he's playing way too fast sometimes, where his feet aren't catching up to his speed…

Remember last year when his skates just went up towards the heavens for no reason? Good thing he wasn't near the boards or something like this may have happened.
