October 27, 2023:
Buffalo Sabres defenseman Connor Clifton was ejected from Friday’s game in New Jersey for a hit to the head of Devils forward Nico Hischier.
He now awaits a hearing with the NHL’s Department of Player Safety for the hit.

When is the league going to make players accountable for putting themselves in vulnerable situations. In league where bodychecking not only allowed, but praised, how tf is it ok to play with you head down these days? No wonder why there are so many more star players now , half of these guys would end up like kariya
