NHL player Jaccob Slavin grew up in a Christian home and always knew who Jesus was. But after he moved away during high school to play junior hockey, he realized he had been relying on his parents’ faith. A coach helped him discover he needed to have his own personal relationship with Jesus, so Jaccob really began digging into what it meant to be a follower of Christ. It’s not about our works, it’s about the work Jesus did on the cross. Ever since coming to that understanding, he’s aimed to give “all glory to God” in everything.
