Quinn Hughes has had an incredible start to this 2023-2024 NHL season with the Vancouver Canucks. Hughes currently leads all defensemen in goals, assists, and points. He also leads the entire NHL in plus/minus. If Quinn Hughes can keep this up, I think he will win the Norris Trophy this season. He has proven that he is one of the top 3 two way defensemen in the NHL and it looks like he is only going to continue to get better from here.

5 point game for Hughes and he’s still getting better. I don’t think he has even reached his full potential yet guys insane talented.

some clown responded to a post i made about hughes last week and made a shopping list of 10 defensemen he said were better than hughes. arber xhekaj was on that list. there's some real pin heads out there.

I'm just worried if this Canucks team crumbles at some point of the season, Hughes' might struggle too. I'm still taking Makar first, but it's really exciting to see Hughes do this good. Let's hope he keeps it up the entire season and they get to play some playoff hockey.
He’s off to a great start! But he’s not the best* defensemen in the league. Makar led his team to a Cup and has dominated since entering the league. I’d say Fox then Hughes make the three all close as among the top defensemen in the league.
