For some reason I will be watching out of morbid curiousity I think. Year 13 of no playoffs unless they really turn things around.

i want to see more out of dahlin.. yeah he does his dippsy doodle plays, fake right – go left, that is fine.. but i want to he him angry, pissed off, determined.. i want him to carry this team when they need a boost. yesterday, they went down 2-0 and nothing happened for 58 minutes. up the frequency a little mr dahlin, play up to your true potential. turn into a true gamechanger because sabres sure need those guys right now, when the season is lingering.
Going in with low expectations always seems end up with a better outcome, and I have 0 expectations.
Get the playoff hopes out of your head and i guess find a silver lining in seeing some of the kiddos get experience. It will make this season less torturous if you don’t keep convincing yourself that this team has a chance in hell of making the playoffs. Not happening. Management did next to nothing to address any of their problems in the offseason so I can’t figure out why people are so surprised by the product on the ice. Signing healthy scratch clifton and old man johnson did not mean this team would get 100 points and make the playoffs lol. Adams doesn’t pull the trigger on substantial trades and is clearly banking on all of the cap room they will have for next season. So this season was doomed from the start.

It's a long season, they still have time to turn it around but they have to do it soon! Last game was abysmal in it's lack of any continuity or drive. It looked like Kreuger was back.
Not optimistic about this one on Toronto ice.
The current brand of Sabres hockey reminds me of the early days, when the team slipped a notch from 1973 but regained form in 1975. Only this time, let the good guys have the better goaltending!
