The puck is going north and Aho is heading south towards Fox, who is no where near the puck. Aho clearly intended to get in Fox's lane so it's interference at a minimum…
Questionable hit; clearly interference; the real question which is eternal with the Rangers. However you may term the hit, clean or not, no one does a darn thing; not looking for goon hockey, been there, hated it. If Ryan Reaves was on the team you think it goes unanswered? This is your star player and you let that go?
Teams in the NHL don't forget cheap shots like that including the Rangers….Aho is going to get his due the next time we play them ….Trouba's going to even the score….
Give me a break, Ranger fans are obviously frustrated, but Aho is one of the least dirty players in the league. Aho is clearly looking up ice in the video to skate out on a breakout. This is clearly just a freak result of bad luck contact. Grow up losers.
Ryan Lindgren dirty hit caused ex- Oulun Kärpät player Joonas Donskoi a concussion and now he has had to retire because of concussions. Sebastian Aho being ex- Oulun Kärpät player also just took rightful revenge on NY Rangers player.

The ‘tell’ is the way Aho turns his head away but leans towards Fox at the last second, trying to make it look accidental. Fox tries to get out of the way by pushing off with his right skate, but gets clipped and injured and now out for 10 games. Dirty play. Aho is going to get his head handed to him in January when they come back to the garden.
Pretty simple regardless of whether AHo sticks his leg or not.. Fox is no where near the puck.. the play is along the wall.. AHO has no business interfering with him as he attempts to jump into the high slot .. AHO can turn and go with him but not impede

It looks to me like Aho wanted to keep Fox from getting past him and skated into his leg. Subtle but dirty no doubt.
Knee on knees are just as bad as headshots as far as I'm concerned..
Looked like incidental contact to me.
My take? Considering the amount of dangerous hits Trouba and Lindgren have dished out over the years, I guess what comes around goes around.
Don't worry Ranger fans. He'll get better.
