The Anaheim Ducks were minus one goal after this one was waved off immediately for goaltender interference. The Ducks challenged the call and even after review the call was upheld. There’s a good reason for that: it was the right call.

But being in the crease is only part of it. I'm not seeing how he impaired Jarry's ability to move freely or defend the goal, which I guess is subjective. I am a Pens fan who watched the Pens broadcast live, and I agreed with both broadcasters that this one should've been overturned for the reason above. I don't see impeded space or vision.
What about every single other goal that isn’t disallowed, where the player is doing the exact same thing?
