You can see clearly the stick touching Barron’s leg, that’s not a call. He never tripped him Barron fell on his edges

Yea with that angle it wasn’t tripping.. Actually good no call by the ref there
slafyousilly
We didn’t have 1 penalty, lots of powerplays. We needed a save
Idiot_BearMan
Good non call

Stick is literally blocking Barron way and snap on his pad. Holding or tripping you can choose. Barron do not fall alone there.
Edit:
This is the frame 0.1 before left leg move foward and snaps lmao. It’s extremly obvious the stick is blocking the way and is the direct cause of the fall. https://imgur.com/a/CD2oF13

I mean… keep your feet Barron, you’re a professional hockey player not a leaf in a fall windstorm

What happened to Barron, is called “panic”.

That missed call was the game changer. So obvious. Bring back the organist’s “three blind mice”.

Check your bias at the door, Barron fell on his face. Not a trip.

I’m a habs fan who grew up watching the blues at home ice. I was cool with either team winning , but when I saw this play I yelled “I guess trips aren’t a thing anymore, right? At my TV and cat.

Blatant missed call on the trip that completely changed the game! The NHL reffing needs to improve…
Sufficient_Syrup85
Fine.. don’t call tripping. Call it hooking. But ffs.. call the damn penalty.. god I hate these refs and their bias towards Canadian teams. I watched the leafs game the other day and it was the same shit..

St Louis player gets a piece of Barton’s left thigh knocking him off balance .

All I want is consistency. It was borderline sure, but the salt for me is the hold that created this PP in the first place was softer than this, so if that’s a penalty this should be too. As soon as we went on the PP I said “there will be a make-up call after”, but instead they just put the whistle away to give STL a breakaway freebie.

Stick is no where near his legs for a trip. And that’s stick on stick so not a hook either.
I was so frustrated when this happened. How the fuck did they miss that call??
