He's playing on the 3rd D pairing, so they got him against 3rd+4th lines.
Sometimes he can be as scary as Michael Myers.
Ok than see if you can trade him
There was a moment I think in the 3rd when stars were pressing and there was a scrum in the corner, Myers went in from behind to start checking, and this is where he usually takes a penalty doing something dumb, but he properly took the body, stick wasn’t up high and the play continued. I couldn’t believe it. Our Tyler has grown up
To me he is one of the bigger guys and the biggest. He can move big guys from the front of the net. He does have intangibles. And seems Tocchet is a hockey whisperer..
It's Myers contract year and I definitely am seeing him playing to his potential finally. It really felt like the last few seasons any time he got a bit physical he would end up getting penalized even though it was a clean hit, frustrating to watch as a fan and I can't imagine his frustration level on those calls.
I do have to point out that last season it felt like Myers could not make a clean exit pass to the point that it made me wonder which team he was actually playing for.
Canucks are winning and he is a big part of the teams success, good for him!
Myers is secretly our MVP. How can people not see this? I want to give a 10 year 100 million contract and we will win the Cup many times.
