Troy Stecher on life in Detroit and returning to play the Canucks
Red Wings Defenseman Troy Stecher joined the guys to talk about his season with the Red Wings, the future and playing the Canucks in Vancouver for the first time.
Maybe not the player that the new regime is targeting, but I would rather have Stecher as our solid 4th – 6th d-man over the current guys we have. Miss ya, Troy!

Depending where Troy plays he is not far removed from becoming a depth player only. With now Hughes, Rathbone and Hunt how many smallish Dmen do we need?

A local kid who played hard every shift. Iād rather have him than Edler or Myers all day long and I wish him well.
Troy took a big pay cut playing for Detroit. Benning could not even give Troy an offer after a couple of solid years with the Canucks. Sad.
